Vicky K. (Knapp) Kidder, age 66, of Penn Yan, NY entered unto rest on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan, NY. Vicky was born in Clifton Springs, NY on July 24, 1956, the daughter of the late, Hugh and Catherine "Kay" (Grimsley) Knapp. She graduate high school from Midlakes High School and was a bus driver for 28 years for Penn Yan Central School until her recent retirement. Vicky loved doing diamond art and bird watching, especially her favorite cardinals. She was a member of the Penn Yan United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved being with her grandson, Christopher, the light of her life. Vicky is survived by her daughter, Heather (Jeremy) Smith of Penn Yan; the light of her life, grandson, Christopher Colf; sister, Joy Knapp Lamotte of Canandaigua; brothers, Kim Knapp of Phelps, Chris Knapp of Newark and Mark Knapp; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and so many friends throughout her bus driving years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Syd Kidder in 2019 and son, Jason Vermilye in 1978.
