Timothy E. Decker, 57, of Naples, NY, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. He was born in Penn Yan on February 2, 1964, the son of John H. and Beulah R. Decker. He graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1982 and went on to serve with the US Marine Corp. Tim worked at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua for 35 years. He was a member of the Canandaigua American Legion Post #256 and Canandaigua Elks Lodge #1844. Tim is survived by his mother, Beulah Decker of Penn Yan; his wife, Eletha; brother, John (Sarah) Decker of Penn Yan; sister, Kathleen (Timothy) Marcellus of Penn Yan; nieces and nephew, Ashley (Jason) Jones, Casey Marcellus and Jackson Marcellus; and great nieces and nephews, Colby Jones, Connor Jones and Eliza Jones. He was predeceased by his father, John H. Decker in 1999, and by his niece, Laura Decker in 2003. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Penn Yan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Canandaigua American Legion Post #256, 454 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
