Robert J. Hand, 67, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. He was born in Penn Yan, NY on January 25, 1957 the son of the late Willard and Frances Hand.

Robert spent much of his life doing roofing. He loved racing and Enduro's. He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. He was a very outgoing person and was very much loved.

He is survived by two daughters, Maria (Tommy) Soto and Michelle (David) Vanderlinden of Rochester, NY; four sisters, Kelly (Chris) Hand, Kim (Jayme) Gilbert, Dora (Punk) McIntyre, and Lucy (Jim) Pedder; three brothers, Jeff (Abby) Hand, Bill (Sandi) Hand and Joe (Cindy) Hand; six grandchildren, Noah and Kayla Vanderlinden, Elliana, Halina, Juliette and Blake Soto; and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Robert on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Penn Yan Elks Lodge, 133 Main St., Penn Yan, NY. All are welcome.
