Michael A. Wawrzyk

Michael Allan Wawrzyk, 69 of Penn Yan, NY, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Geneva General Hospital. Michael was born in Canandaigua, NY on September 11, 1957, the son of Chester and Joyce Wawrzyk. He married his wife, Robin Watkins on April 19, 1995 in Lake Tahoe California.

Michael spent his career working in the live-sound industry and mentoring others in the business. He lived in Arizona for 40 years before returning with his family to live near Keuka Lake.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Robin Watkins; sons, Garret Wawrzyk and Michael Wawrzyk; step-mother, Dawn Mullen of Phoenix AZ, siblings, Raymond Wawrzyk and Patricia Wawrzyk of Phoenix AZ; mother-in-law, Margaret Watkins of WI; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Watkins and Jackie Applehans of Salem ,WI, Emily (Ron) Pallek of WI, Peter (Sirena) Watkins of VA and John (Betsy) Watkins of NC; cousins, Brendan Case of AZ and Karen Everett of IN; and by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; father-in-law, Robert Watkins; and his brother-in-law Timothy Watkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY followed by a memorial service at 4:00pm.
