Mary J. Gee

Mary J. Gee, 77, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away at her home on May 6, 2026.

She was born on September 30, 1948, in Penn Yan, NY the daughter of Augustine and Beulah Santullo. Mary and Ronald Gee were married in 1967 at St. Michael's Church in Penn Yan. She was a devoted housewife who dedicated much of her life to caring for her family.

She enjoyed simple pleasures such as crocheting, watching TV, and had a deep love for her cats. These hobbies brought her joy throughout her years.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Gee; parents, Augustine and Beulah Santullo, and her brothers, Augustine Santullo Jr. and Nicholas Santullo.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose Mattero (John Mattero); and by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm Street, Penn Yan, NY 14527. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
