Jocelyn K. Falvey, 66, of Penn Yan, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021. Jo was born in Penn Yan on March 26,1954, the daughter of Ralph G. and Margaret (Bailey) Rogers. She graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1972, and went on to work in several local restaurants, Wegmans, and Keuka College. She could usually be found gardening, feeding and adopting stray cats that showed up at her house, or cooking delicious meals to share with family, friends and neighbors alike. She is survived and will be missed dearly by her adoring husband of 20 years, Michael E. Falvey of Penn Yan; her children, Brooke (Justin) Colburn of Marion, NY; Chad (Tracey) McNeil of Brooklyn, NY; Seth (Angela) Rogers of Los Angeles, CA, and Shawn (Kristine) McNeil of Greenville, SC; 6 grandchildren; her brothers, Lon (Jil Swarthout) of Lyons, NY, and Ralph B. (Valerie) Rogers of Chesapeake, VA; and 2 nieces. A memorial service will be held this summer.
