Joan Marie (McMillan) Andrews

Joan Marie (McMillan) Andrews, born May 8, 1948 in Yates County, NY, daughter of the late George Franklin & Eleanor Debolt McMillan and wife of the late Larry Andrews, having completed the work for which God had created her for on this earth, was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Joan enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and sewing. She was a former seamstress at Michael Sterns in Penn Yan, NY and later in her life she worked as a home health aide and companion, assisting elderly persons with some daily tasks and providing companionship and support where ever she could. She attended Gateway Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Mark Andrews & wife, Jill of Hephzibah, GA, David Andrews & wife, Tammy of Timberlake, NC; four grandchildren, Kathrine Andrews, Mark Andrews II, Stephanie Pinkney & husband, Brian, Ivy Bradshaw & husband, Zack, four great-grandchildren, Kenley Andrews, Thomas Andrews, Erik Pinkney, Amira Bradshaw; four sisters, Marion Baughman, Phyllis Dame, Judith Baughman, Doris Roberts, and a host of nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by a great- grandchild, Zoey Pinkney; and a brother, George McMillan.

A Celebration of Life will be held in January of 2027.
