Jeremy Michael King, age 35, of Penn Yan, NY passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 16 ^th , 2023 in his childhood home.

Jeremy was born in Geneva, NY on December 19 ^th , 1987, the son of Patricia Murphy and William King.  He attended Penn Yan Academy and Marcus Whitman Jr./Sr. High School.  He was a chef at the Hillbilly Mushroom in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Patricia (Kenneth) Simmons of Penn Yan; father, William (Robin) King of Keuka Park; daughters, Emily Yunkes, Judith and Alexandria; sons Ryan Yunkes and Jamie King; sisters, Lisa Simmons, Miranda King, Jennifer King and Larrissa Hall; brothers, Timothy (Shannon) Simmons and David (Lorana) Woodruff; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.  Jeremy was predeceased by his sister, Caitlyn King-Hayward on January 31, 2023; his grandparents, Loren and Winnifred King of Penn Yan and John and Patricia Murphy of Penn Yan; and his step-grandparents, Walter and Alice Simmons of Shortsville, NY and Robert Hall  and Betty Jean Clancy of Penn Yan; uncle, uncle Robert King, Tennessee and aunt, Lori Simmons-Pitkin.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 9 ^th , 2023 at Townsend Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E.
