James E. Walk, 92, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Keuka Comfort Care Home in Penn Yan. He was the son of the late Henry and Olive Walk.

He was a loving husband and father to his wife of 57 years, Betty J. "Janie" (Salemann) Walk; son, James (Deborah) Walk; daughters, Lisa L. Walk-Reinard (Scott) and Annette M. Howard. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Christian and Annika Reinard, Ashton Howard, and James and Laura Walk; and one great grandchild, Cameron; two brothers, J. Eugene Walk and Bob Walk; four sisters, Pauline Crump, Shirley Ingraham, Kathy Smith and Janice Ghezzi; sister-in-law, Beatrice Walk; and by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Raymond A. Walk; brothers, Donald (Hazel) Walk and Willis Walk; and sisters, Ruth Hoelle and Judith Larimer.

Funeral services for James will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Dresden United Methodist Church, 60 Cornelia St., Dresden, NY. A luncheon will follow at the church. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dresden United Methodist Church-Fidelis Class or to Keuka Comfort Care Home, 35 State Route 54, East Lake Rd., Penn Yan, NY 14527.
