Gerald Bogart, age 57, of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Soldiers & Sailors Hospital. Gerald was born in Penn Yan, NY on October 28, 1967 to the late Grover and Marlene (Walton) Bogart.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughters, Sara, Laura, Miranda and Matilda; son, Jason; and sisters, Christine Muller, Angela Jensen, and Phoebe Bogart. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a nephew, Austin Jensen.

Gerald married the former Phyllis A. Mitchell on June 25, 2005 and would have celebrated 20 years of marriage later this month. He spent most of his working life at local factories.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 5, 2025, starting at 1pm at the Hall Fire Department, 4879 State Route 14A, Hall, NY 14463. Guests are invited to bring a dish-to-pass or drinks, should they choose.
