Gail E. Jensen, age 66, of Geneva, NY passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Keuka Comfort Care Home Penn Yan, New York. Gail was born on December 23, 1956, the daughter of the late Clem and Lena Hammond. Gail attended Nursing School and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital of Penn Yan. She was also a member of The First Baptist Church of Geneva and the Red Hat Society. She is remembered by her family as the most caring and giving person ever known. Gail is survived by her husband Roger J. Jensen; sisters Sheila Griffin and Dawn (Gene) Hammond-Wheeler; nephews Mike and Matt Griffin, Benjamin Van Housen, and Alan Duncan; nieces Rose, Kathy, and Alayne Hammond; as well as several great and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gail was predeceased by her brother Darwin Hammond and her beloved cat Merlin. Services will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Geneva, New York at 11 am In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Gail's memory to the Keuka Comfort Care Home, PO Box 107, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
