Ellyn Mary Hudson, age 66, of Geneva, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 12th, 2024. Ellyn was born in Penn Yan, NY on June 6th, 1957, the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Beatrice E. (Howell) Hudson. She graduated from Penn Yan Academy and attended business school. She loved animals especially horses and cats and would rather be outdoors than inside. Ellyn is survived by her sisters, Barbara (Joseph) Benishek of Canastota, NY and Linda (Thomas Lee) Craig of Princeton, NC; nieces and nephews, Timothy and Jennifer Benishek and William, Tammi, Michael Craig and Billi (Jeremy) Smith; great nephew, Michael Hunter Craig, as well as several other great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY. Ellyn's memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by burial in Benton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Yatesville Methodist Church, PO Box 708, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
