Dorothy N. Jancarek, age 88, of Tyrone, NY formerly of Rock Stream, NY passed away on Sunday, July 4th, 2021 at the Penn Yan Manor. Dorothy was born in Morristown, NJ on December 22, 1932, the daughter of the late Buel and Helen Jones. She graduated from Morristown High School in Morristown, NJ. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the VFW Auxilary of Watkins Glen. She enjoyed casino gambling, reading and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 69 years, Theodore Jancarek; daughtes, Karen (Neil) Cudworth of Beaver Dams, NY and Helena Diane (Bill) Silliman of Tyrone, NY; son, Steven Jancarek of Clyde, NC; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her two sisters, Helen Smith of Morris Plains, NJ and Mildred Kelly of Sherman, CT. Burial will be at Rock Stream Cemetery in Rock Stream, NY at the convenience of her family.
