Catherine Ann James, age 62, of Bellona, NY entered unto rest on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side. Catherine was born in Penn Yan, NY on December 16th, 1959, the daughter of the late Warren and Margaret Beebe. She attended Finger Lakes Community College and married Dwight James in Penn Yan on June 4, 1982. She was the current office manager of DJ Builders & Remodelers Inc and was formerly a 27 year employee of Cam's Pizzeria in Geneva. She was a member of the Penn Yan United Methodist Church. Catherine enjoyed painting, photography, spending time with her grand kids, sitting on the beach with her toes in the sand, and traveling with her husband, Dwight. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dwight James; daughter, Carissa (Randy) Jensen of Waterloo; son, Robert (Jessica Pessin) James of Corning; brother, Don (Lynda) Beebe of Westfield; six grandchildren, Olivia, Carsten, Briceton, Owen, Maverick, Landon, as well as, Catherine who is due to arrive in September; and Twelve nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her nephew, Benjamin Johnson. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Penn Yan United Methodist Church, 166 Main St., Penn Yan, NY 14527. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan, NY.
