"Cathy" Catherine Golden-Coppola, age 60, of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 at Geneva General Hospital. Cathy was born in Geneva, NY on March 17, 1960, the daughter of the late "Jerry" Frank E. and Beverly (Kerrick) Golden. She married her late husband, Daniel A. Coppola Sr. on December 23rd, 1999. Cathy was a devoted daughter and caretaker to her parents. She was a talented finish carpenter. She enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. Cathy was very passionate about cooking and feeding people. She also enjoyed building furniture. Cathy is survived by her daughter Jerrie Dee (Steven) Smalley-Pond of Pulteney, NY, son Patrick R. (Randi) Smalley of Hemlock, NY; sisters, Dorothy (Mike) Carmel, Christine (Mark) Langan and Phyllis (Jim Eddinger) Golden, brother David (Sue) Golden, six grandchildren Autum Flint, Sebastian Flint, Gregory Pond, Alexis Pratt, Athena Smalley, and Alexzander Smalley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Daniel A. Coppola Sr. in 2016 and sister Bonnie J. (Golden) Boehm in 2002. A Celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
