Benjamin C. Johnson, age 26, of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Benjamin was born in Bath, NY on May 18th, 1994, the son of the Daniel Johnson and Deborah Cirencione. He attended Midlakes-Newark BOCES and graduated from Penn Yan Academy. He was an active part of MOZAIC/ARC. He enjoyed juggling, swinging, socializing, going on walks, watching Jeopardy and playing board games with his family. He is survived by his father, Daniel Johnson of Penn Yan; mother, Deborah (Bob) Cirencione of Geneva; sisters, Amelia (Gregory Lanphear) Johnson and Allyssa Johnson both of Penn Yan; aunts and uncles, Lois & Carl Klapp, Donna & Dale Klaeysen, Carol Allen, Dennis & Diane James, Dwight & Cathy James, and Diane & Gene Craig; first cousins, Brenda Morris, Jeffrey Klapp, Jenifer Klaeysen, Jared Klaeysen, Shawn Johnson, Erin Birnbaum, Robert James, Carissa Jensen, Wendy Lorenzen, Eric Craig, Brittany Craig, Stacey Craig, Shelly Craig Johnson; second cousins, Harmony Daugherty, Jonathan Lyons, and Anthony Brewer. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Emma James; paternal grandparents, Carman and Flora Johnson; and his cousin Angela Hoaglin in 2014. Friends and family may call from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 at Townsend Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527. A service celebrating Benjamin's life will follow at 1pm with the Rev. John Busch officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan, NY.
